Cutting my hair for MS

Support Me

My name is Ziggy and I am 8 years old. I am in year 2 at school and I want to raise $10,000 dollars for MS.

When I was 4 my mum asked me if I would like to grow my hair to be made into a wig for a little boy or girl that had lost their hair due to cancer or another illness. I said yes. My mum then asked whether i would like to raise money for growing my hair long and getting it cut. I said yes to that too!

I picked MS because my Mum has MS.

I love my mum, she does as much as she can to make my dad, my sister Maia and my life as fun as possible. Mum used to be a chef before her MS, she cooks yummy food. Mummy's pizza is my favourite. We have pizza, ice cream and movie night once a week.

I love my mum just the way she is but what I would really really really like is mum to be able to walk next to me holding my hand, swim in the ocean with me and give me piggy backs. She always drops Maia and I at school and picks us up. She makes sure Maia and I get to all our after school activities, play dates and birthday parties. Mum makes sure dad is organised as well!

When mum is finding things more difficult than usual she makes sure we are still taken care of by asking the rest of our family to help so we don't miss out on anything. What I would really like, and so would mum, is that MS is something that is no longer around and would be history one day.

We would like the people living with MS to be able to feel better and have the equipment they need to make their lives easier. Whether it is air conditioning to cool them down so they don't feel so bad in summer or a wheelchair that gets them out and about in the world.

I have been growing my hair for 4 years and now it is long enough for a wig to be made so I am ready to get it cut in November.

I would love it if you could help me raise $10,000 to help people and their families that are living with MS because its everyone that lives with MS when a family member has MS.
