TURN THE PAGE ON MS AND MND
Saturday 1st Nov
Fundraiser / book launch / afternoon tea
I’ve written a children’s book titled Splotch and the Problem That Wasn’t, which gently explores emotions around unexpected change. Told through the eyes of a young painter named Walter, the familiar colours of the town of Splotch where the sky is dark purple and the sun bright green, suddenly change - and soon the entire town is beginning to see their world in a new light.
The launch of this book will be the basis of a fundraiser, and is to help people living with MS and also people diagnosed with MND.
Everyone who books and comes along will receive a copy of the book, have afternoon tea and be entered in the lucky door prize draws on the day.
The fundraiser will be held at Ruby’s Café and Books in Umina on the NSW Central Coast. I really hope you can make it, I have lived with MS since 1998 and have strong understanding of all the issues it brings us – and aside from that I lost my younger brother to Motor Neurone Disease, and in his memory I hope to contribute to also helping people diagnosed with that condition.
Funds raised though booking and attending the book launch/afternoon tea will be divided equally between MS Plus amd MND NSW.
Bookings to attend and payment for the book launch/afternoon tea can be made by entering the following into your browser  >>>  https://www.trybooking.com/DGVJX
I truly hope to see you there, and thank you in person for your generosity.
If unable to attend, donations can be made via this page of the MSPlus website, and will be received by that organisation to be used in support of those with MS and other neurological conditions, including MND.
THANK YOU
