I am trekking the Sapphire Coast to Beat MS!
In 2005 I was gifted a friendship with Lyndall that I never saw coming.
A friendship that grew from chance, as we were placed in a new mum’s group together. A friendship that has weathered all manner of drama, and a lot of love and laughter too. A friendship that has seen our (six in total) children grow up together and flourish. And a friendship that I treasure with all my heart.
So, when Lyndall called with an ‘opportunity’ for us to together support research into a cure for MS, there was no hesitation. Finally, a chance to support her, as a thank you for all the support she has always shown me. We got this.
Multiple sclerosis is the most common disease of the central nervous system, and it strikes young people in the prime of their lives. Just like it did her. There is currently no known cure.
So, honouring Lyndall’s offer, I am trekking with this gorgeous woman, in one of the last great coastal wilderness areas in Australia, along the rugged coastline of Tathra, through Ben Boyd National Park and tackling the iconic Light to Light Walk, to raise funds to deliver essential MS support services and ensure no one faces MS alone.
Please DONATE, even a small amount, to support our trek and give hope to thousands of Australians living with multiple sclerosis.
