Dry July Join Us

Dry July

We have set ourselves a challenge to go dry for july and we are using this to fundraise for MS. You can sponsor us and follow our journey through this fundraising page. Your generous donation will ensure that Aussies are well supported while they face the challenge of living with multiple sclerosis!

As I am sure some of you are aware our eldest son Elliott was diagnosed with MS last week.

MS is the most common disease of the central nervous system - currently there is no cure.

It's quite staggering to think that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other neurological condition, with the average age of diagnosis just 30 years old, also noting that Elliott is just 23. Every case of multiple sclerosis is unique - the symptoms, severity and progress of the disease are different for everyone.

You can ensure Aussies living with multiple sclerosis can break down barriers, achieve goals and live well by making a secure online donation.

Thank you for your support.

Roller coaster ride

Monday 26th Jun
Last week we had the most devastating news I feel I have ever gotten . My first born son was diagnosed at 23 years old with MS. If I am totally honest had no idea what it ACTUALLY was but knew it was not a great diagnosis. I have laughed with him and taken the Mickey and cried so many tears over the last week but  am finally now able to come to terms with the fact that it’s not the end of the world and as a family and friends we will be able to support Elliott and make things bearable. It’s now about making plans for his future and been there for him ( not that anything has really changed as we are always there for all our boys)  you never expect to say that it will never happen to us but here I am  mum to 7 and had a easy ride with the boys until now……

Thank you to my Sponsors
