I AM TREKKING THE SOUTHERN ALPS TO FIGHT MS!
Multiple sclerosis is the most common disease of the central nervous system and it strikes young people in the prime of their lives.
There is currently no known cure.
It's quite staggering that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other neurological condition, with the average age of diagnosis just 30 years old. Every case of multiple sclerosis is unique – the symptoms, severity and progress of the disease are different for everyone.
So I’m trekking the awe-inspiring landscapes, native bushland and expansive plains, canyons, countryside and coast of Aotearoa, New Zealand’s scenic South Island, to raise funds to deliver essential MS support services and ensure no one faces MS alone.

WEEK 6!
Monday 25th Sep I have reached the halfway point of the challenge and so far have SWAM 52.3km, RODE 50.3 and RAN 74.8km. The support from everyone is absolutely incredible. Thank you, let's keep going! Share

Kayla and Sharyn's Southern Alps Adventure
Monday 18th Sep Hi friends and family. Kayla and I are off to trek the Alps of NewZealand in April 2024. We are raising money for MS, to help deliver essential support services to MS sufferers. We are reminded of MS daily with Kayla having to find a balance between her incredibly positive life, including work, exercise, travel and loving life, to also sorting ongoing specialist appointments, MRI's and infusions.
