This World MS Day, I'm fundraising to fight MS!
Multiple sclerosis is the most common disease of the central nervous system - currently there is no cure.
As you may know, I have it. I hate it, but I have it
It's quite staggering — and horrible— that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other neurological condition, with the average age of diagnosis just 30 years old. I’ve been living with my MS diagnosis since 2012 which means next year I will be coming up on a decade of the bloody thing. And while every case of multiple sclerosis is unique - the symptoms, severity and progress of the disease are different for everyone - there is one thing we all share. And that’s the knowledge that after all this time there is still no cure.
So this May, I'm raising funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis and celebrating World MS Day on 30 May! But actually I’ll be wearing my red AND donning red lipstick on the 27th at work and I encourage you to join me in doing the same (you too boys). Heck - have a red morning tea with your colleagues. I will bring a packet of Jaffas.
Please help me guys. Dig deep so that people living with multiple sclerosis (and there are stacks of us) can break down barriers, achieve goals and live well. Make a secure online donation and help me to fund a way to kick MS in its arse so it can stop kicking me and people like me in ours 😊
BEAN CENTRAL GETS ONBOARD 😍Thursday 29th Apr Stay tuned for some big announcements, but I’m teaming up with Matt, Katie and the Bean Team fro “Bean Central” in Queanbeyan (best cafe in the 2620) to combine our fundraising prowess as we kick MS in its bewbs.
Erm...Thursday 22nd Apr So anyway, I’m not sure why the ‘teams’ thing on this page reckons I’ll be trekking across the Tasmanian Wilderness if you donate $1000
Thank you to my Sponsors
