Pedaling for a Purpose: 1000KMs in 30 Days for MS

Hey friends,

I'm gearing up for a meaningful challenge, and I'm reaching out to you for support! For the next 30 days, I'll be embarking on a 1000-kilometer cycling journey, all in the name of raising funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It's a cause that hits close to home, and I'm excited to channel my love for cycling into a powerful force for good.

As you may or may not know, MS is a complex and often unpredictable neurological condition that affects individuals and families in ways that go beyond the physical. My goal is to not only conquer this 1000-kilometer ride but to also make a lasting impact on the lives of those living with MS. Your support, whether it's through a donation, words of encouragement, or simply sharing this journey with me, means the world. Every pedal stroke will be a reminder of the collective strength we have when we come together for a cause we believe in.

I invite you to be a part of this journey – follow along, cheer me on, and consider contributing to this cause. Together, we can turn every kilometer into a step closer to a world free from the challenges of MS. Let's ride for hope, for resilience, and for a future filled with possibilities.

Thank you for joining me on this ride for MS!

My Updates

Day 12 - 40.80km

Wednesday 6th Dec

Day 11 - 40.09km

Tuesday 5th Dec
I got up early to ride the local loop before work and before the weather got hot. I "may" go for a 20km ride once the sun goes down if it's cool enough to get more kms under my belt.

Day 10 - Rest

Tuesday 5th Dec
A day of rest after riding and playing baseball on Sunday.

At the end of Day 10, I rode 139.43kms and have 860.57kms left to ride over the next 20 days.

Day 9 - 21.5km Spin

Monday 4th Dec
Quick ride before playing baseball in the afternoon to spin the legs and get some kms.

Day 8 - Washed Out

Monday 4th Dec
Fairweather riding today. Too wet.

Day 7 - 39.26km

Monday 4th Dec
My regular loop just to get some kms. :)

Day 5 and 6

Monday 4th Dec
No riding on Day 5 and Day 6 as I was in Perth for work.

What about Day 2 and 3?

Wednesday 29th Nov
Great question! While riding every single day will make it easier to hit my goal of 1000kms in 30 Days, sometimes things get in the way, such as work, family, needing rest and baseball.

Day 2 - I played baseball and walked away with a mouth full of gravel (another story) but, more importantly, a 13-5 win.

Day 3 - Was a day of rest.

Day 4 - 39.5km with 921.33km to go

Wednesday 29th Nov

Day 1 - 39.17km with 960.83km to go

Tuesday 28th Nov
