Hi, I'm Megan

In 2018 at the age of 23 I went through one of the hardest times of my life. Being diagnosed with MS multiple sclerosis (& MOG (myelin oligodendrocyte glycoptotein antibody disorder).

Sadly MS was not new to me, as growing up I had to see my aunt suffer with MS and the toll it took on her. If more research and funding had been available when she was first diagnosed her outcome could have been so much different, not bound to a chair or bed. 

So when I found out of my diagnosis my heart sank, I went from being a fit and healthy mum of a 9-month-old to barely being able to see and walk. I completely lost my independence, and ability to look after my family. And I never truly thought I would be where I am today

But thanks to my amazing husband and family, especially my mother who took 3 months of work to help me. and great Doctors who were fast in finding a medication and regime that would work for me. Now I live a pretty normal life, being able to see and walk again, working in a job I love, and creating lifelong memories with family and friends.

So I have decided to raise funds to help others just like me to fight this disease by shaving my hair on World MS Day (30/05/2025)
