COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING 2020-21

Community fundraisers were keen to support MS in 2020-21, despite the challenges presented by lockdowns and venue capacity restrictions and the impacts to face-to-face fundraising events. So many inspired and inspiring fundraisers emerged from lockdowns determined to embark on a challenge to engage the community and fundraise for MS!
Jack spent two weeks riding 2,100kms around Victoria and raised $61,795 for MS!
Tracey rode 1,979kms across the Nullarbor in just 19 days and raised $30,080!
Fifteen staff members from Norfolk Island Health and Residential Aged Care Service performed the Jerusalema Dance at various, picturesque locations around the island, creating a video to celebrate World MS Day to raise awareness and $3,347 for MS.
Lorri’s whole community came together to support her fundraising efforts as she shaved her head on World MS Day and raised $15,646!
Rachael ran a half marathon and raised $1,256.
Kristi swam 106kms over 97 days, attending 9 different venues and 13 pools to complete her challenge and raised $1,105 for MS!
The Dubbo RSL Aquatic and Health Club hosted a month-long fundraiser encouraging dress ups and donations to MS while attending group fitness classes!
Following her Dad’s MS diagnosis, Emma shaved off her hair for MS and raised $3,924!
And 40 dedicated participants of our upcoming Conquer Cradle Mountain to Beat MS challenge expeditions have been sizzling sausages, dressing in red, baking up a storm, and hiking the trails - raising $71,891 for MS this financial year, with fundraising ongoing until the treks in October and November 2021 (moved to February and March 2022).
This year, MS community fundraisers have shown us how to be Limitless for MS! They have taken on challenges, brought communities together – both face-to-face and virtually, and fundraised an incredible $387,653 for MS!
